Open Mic Night - FREE EVENT

We are jointly hosting another OPEN MIC event with Josie and Dan at The Music Workshop. This event is open to any performer - music, comedy or spoken word.

Come along and showcase your talent in a friendly and non-judgmental environment.

The Music Workshop has plenty of instruments and equipment which you are welcome to use on the night.

This is a free event and no need to book, just turn up.

Accessibility Details - The Music Workshop

We try to make sure all our venues are accessible with easy access and facilities for all members of our community. This venue is located on Cheriton Place with parking outside and wide pavement access (see picture below). The space has wheel chair access.

Folkestone First Timers is all about helping those who have dreamed of playing a musical instrument, singing joining a band and/or performing but who feel excluded for whatever reason :-

• Age, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, disability (visible/invisible), parent or carer or during menopause

• Limited financial resources

• Limited or no musical experience and don’t know where to start.

• Lack of inclusive spaces for beginners
